The Charlesworth Hotel & Restaurant

The Charlesworth came highly recommended and did not disappoint! We took friends with us for dinner and every appetizer and entree was awesome. We couldn’t help ourselves -ate every morsel - and even tried a few of the amazing, homemade desserts. Service was exceptional too. This gem is sooooo worth checking out!

Great experience in a little remote location! The dining room has excellent views of the bay and the service was super friendly and quick. We got the stuffed crab flounder and the salmon over pesto pasta, and both were to die for! The host was impeccable as well, making sure we felt right at home as soon as we walked in! *No alcohol on menu, but have a great wine bottle selection

We found the Charlesworth while looking for a winter weekend getaway and had a lovely stay! The view of the bay from our room was beautiful, especially at sunset. We walked around the small beach area just out front during the day, and went to the restaurant in the evening. All of the food was really tasty! The tuna tartar was highly recommended and ended up being our favorite menu item, but we also loved the lobster bisque and scallops. The owner was extremely accommodating, and the bottle of white wine (offered on the house) went great with the food. He let us select an antique ring on the house at the end of the meal which was a nice touch, I wear mine often. All in all, this place was a hidden gem and the restaurant/hotel had awesome, friendly service. We will gladly come back sometime.
